After high school I worked for Aetna, got married had 3 children(girls) went back to work for MSU Extension, than for the County Clerks office than ended up in the Treasurer's office as Deputy Treasurer. Retired from there. I moved from New Britain after I got married, my husband Allen was in the Navy we lived in Portsmouth, NH for awhile than Corpus Christi, TX before returning to where he was raised in Michigan. We settled in Kalkaska, MI and raised our family.

WHAT PERSONAL EVENTS IMPACTED YOU THE MOST?
When the submarine my husband was on hit bottom and had to be towed in. The men when they reached dry land a lot of them kissed the ground. It was a sight to see. No one was hurt during the incident but it was scarey to go thru.

WHAT ARE YOUR GREATEST HOPES AND CONCERNS FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS?
That government is taking over way too many things. Our "Big Brother is Watching" is becoming a reality. Let us as a people think for ourselfs and make our own decisions.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR FUTURE?
Seeing my children and grandchildren happy and healthy. Also a healthy retirement so I and my husband can enjoy our time together.
