SUMMARIZE YOUR CAREER/PERSONAL PATH OVER THE LAST FIFTY YEARS.
Started off with the Marine Corps in 1960. Got out in ''63, attended Porter School of Engineering in 1971. Graduated 2 years later and landed a job in the Glass industry as an Architectural Draftsman in 1973. Became a certified Estimator in 1975 and am still doing Estimating here in Arizona, albeit only 3 or 4 days per week.

WHICH NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL EVENTS HAVE MOST INFLUENCED/IMPACTED YOU SINCE
HIGH SCHOOL?

While in the Marine Corps, being stationed in the South Pacific I was impacted by the history of the battles fought on my behalf by Marines gone on before me. I was actually at some of the battle sights, namely Wake Island, Philippines, Guam, Okinawa and of course Japan.

WHAT PERSONAL EVENTS IMPACTED YOU THE MOST?

Seeing some of the unexploded bombs, grenades and viewing some of the burned out caves. Being at the site of Okinawan's and their children who jumped off the cliffs to their deaths just to get away from the American "devils".

WHAT ARE YOUR GREATEST HOPES AND CONCERNS FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS?

That we NEVER forget what our previous generation sacrificed for America and the world.
One of my concerns is the apathy these young people have today. They just don't realize how important it is to get involved and pay attention to what is happening around them.

AT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR FUTURE?

To finally being fully retired and traveling more. Looking into an RV in which to do it.

WHAT ARE YOUR SPECIAL OR MOST OUTSTANDING MEMORIES FROM OUR YEARS AT NBHS?

Being in the N B H S band and the football games, the concerts and all of the special trips we took.
The camaraderie of all of the members of the band.
